Harry Potter & babysitting

Not at the same time of course!

My MIL and I went to see Harry Potter: The Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry yesterday. The exhibit was amazing and it took us a little over an hour to go through it. We both are readers at museums to every plaque, plate, and posting was read. I loved seeing the details of the costumes up close. I loved Professor Trelawney's sweater and, of course, was staring at it trying to figure it out - looks like garter stitch to just below the armpit area being the only different part of the stitches. I've added it to the someday list. My MIL is a seamstress so she was looking at how the costumes were made as well. Camera's were not allowed in the exhibit and so was not worth the risk of trying w my phone but I was able to get a shot of the flying car which was out in the main museum. THAT made me wish I had brought a camera, a regular one, but being able to see it and get a cellphone pic worked just enough.

P & I babysat Turnip, who I am retiring that nickname. So-Big is one of her more so used one so I think I'll stick w that one for awhile. When I got back from the museum she was already there. Luckily she is a happy baby so not too much fussing. I don't think it is possible NEVER to get a no fuss what so ever day with any baby. Luckily she loves mirrors so the few times she fretted it was straight to the bathroom and moments later I had a giggling baby with me.

Today I'm pretty worn out so it's been knitting and laundry. I am "watching" the Bears game, watching Grey's season premiere (OMG) - both parts, and drinking Tazo Awake tea. I am out of Almond Butter and so hoping for Trader Joe's run where I plan to get two jars. I didn't last time and I should have esp since that has become a staple.

Another staple due to the garden has been tomatoes. I've been adding them to almost everything. Today I brought in four more from the yard. It'll be sad when the weather gets cold and I can't just go out into the garden. Next year I plan to have as much produce be from our garden rather than the store. It just need to plan out what to plant and how much room it all will need. I am debating a bench or to repaint one of the plastic deck chairs left when we got the house in that area as well.
